Contributor Guidelines

We welcome contributions from marketing and writing pros who have great stories and advice to share with our Managing Editor audience. (And yes, we pay!)

Most articles on Managing Editor run from 750 to 1,500 words.

We're most interested in unique, interesting profiles of managing editors working at brands or news organizations. We also like fresh angles on content marketing, improving your writing and editing skills, and making the most of marketing and publishing tech.

We do not consider previously published materials.

You may recommend specific vendors, but you must disclose any business relationship you have with the company in question.

Please include a headshot and a contributor biography, and any appropriate links to your social media accounts and website.

To contribute, please email and include two to three sentences summarizing the topic you wish to discuss and why it matters to professionals working in content marketing and brand publishing.
