We are seeking a global Director of Brand & Content with a proven ability to deliver impactful global brand, content, and communication strategies. Reporting to the global VP of Marketing and a key member of the Marketing Leadership Team, the Director of Brand & Content is the steward of the Convera brand. The ideal candidate knows how to leverage our identity, values, and capabilities into a compelling brand story that positions Convera as an expert and leader in Fintech. This requires an individual who can combine a vision for the future of cross-border commerce with an ability to execute with excellence, agility, and frugality.  The Director of Brand & Content brings deep expertise in brand strategy and governance, creative services, and content marketing.


  • Lead strategy, governance, and execution for the Convera brand including:
    • Purpose and pillars: what we stand for
    • Content, communications, and creative strategy: what we say
    • Asset production and localization: how we look
    • Planning and execution across channels: how we are found
  • Inspire and manage a high-performing team of writers, designers, digital marketers, and researchers who are accountable for Convera brand experiences and content publishing across all use cases
  • Manage strategy and execution for owned and earned channels: website, blog, social media, PR, and analyst relations
  • Drive creative direction, design, copywriting, production, and delivery of assets across:
    • Integrated campaigns for awareness, acquisition, and retention
    • Website experiences
    • Editorial and thought leadership
    • Enablement for GTM across direct sales, partners, and product launches.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Product Management, and GTM teams to enable the launch of new solutions and entry into new verticals and markets
  • Drive innovation and experimentation to ensure our marketing practice is modern and relevant by identifying high potential channels, new formats, and new methods for distribution and measurement
  • Build and implement processes and mechanisms to drive productivity while frugally managing resources and budgets


  • 15+ years of B2B marketing experience with direct responsibility for brand strategy, creative services, and content marketing
  • 10+ years of digital marketing experience with emphasis on integrated experiences that span channels and formats
  • 10+ years of people management experience, ideally as a leader of leaders
  • Experience managing an end-to-end creative, content, and production process, including localization with a mixed resource model that leverages both full-time employees and agency partners


  • Creative problem-solver with a growth mindset; actively and intuitively seeks ways to simplify process and improve performance
  • Demonstrated sound business judgment and the ability to think strategically about a quickly growing business alongside the interest and ability to dive into tactical details
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use research, hard data and metrics to challenge assumptions, generate credible forecasts, and solve problems
  • Comfortable with ambiguity – able to establish strategic direction and execute effectively in a global, matrixed organization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of owning and writing complex documents and presenting/influencing VP+ stakeholders
