We are on a mission to find an amazing Content Marketing Writer who loves to write and create compelling content, in support of our global products and services. With a passion for writing, you’ll deliver compelling content across digital and traditional channels including webpages, blogs, premium content, emails, fact sheets, sales proposals, and much more. An essential member of our Product Marketing team, the ideal content marketing writer will help deliver content in support of product positioning, web copy, campaigns, thought leadership, white papers, customer stories, and product-focused demand generation. The content marketing writer’s responsibilities will also include support of the content strategy, asset repurposing, social media messaging, and helping to support a standard of excellence within content. To start, this role will focus on social media messaging, blogs, editing content and lifting product marketing collateral — and only grow from there.
Responsibilities:
- Produce bold, strategic, persuasive conversion-focused messages for our go-to-market campaigns, launches, blogs, fact sheets, whitepapers, web copy and other market-facing deliverables.
- Interact with marketing, sales, and product management teams on a regular basis to build out a deep understanding of our products and our customers.
- Identify key messages of all content, understand the target audience, and communicate accordingly in a professional and compelling way.
- Copy editing, content editing, and helping to lift the overall quality of content continually to further expand the brand.
- Support, manage, and align the content calendar across the Marketing team.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in journalism, marketing, English, public relations or communications or applicable relevant experience.
- 4+ years in copywriting for software companies/products in a B2B or B2C or setting. Experience in enterprise SaaS marketing strongly preferred.
Job & Technology Skills
- Passion for storytelling, writing, and content.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to translate the technical and craft business-level writing.
- Ability to work with a global team over multiple time zones, comfort interviewing and working with subject matter experts globally.
- Presentation and communication skills to articulate ideas and support campaigns.
- Flair for creativity including innovative thinking about how copy and content can help improve messaging.
- Ability to manage multiple programs and initiatives simultaneously, manage and meet deadlines, and is responsive to editing and feedback from stakeholders.
